Shipping Information We offer free shipping for domestic, ground shipments. Orders in the continental United States ship at our discretion via UPS ground, FedEx or USPS. Your credit card will not be charged until your order ships. Shipments to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped via 2-day air and all orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii will be changed to reflect this additional cost. LightingSpot will deliver orders to the United States only. No international orders are accepted at this time.
Tax Information Items shipped to Texas will be charged an 8.25% sales tax. No tax for items shipped to outside of Texas.
Product Availability Products on the site generally ship within 2-3 business days; however, on occasion, the manufacturer's production schedule will change, and the item will temporarily be out of stock. Also, listed availability might not be applicable for multiple copies of an item, and that sudden demand for an item can have an effect on its availability. We will inform you by e-mail or phone if any items in your order prove to be unavailable.
Order Cancellations Unshipped items can be cancelled as long as the item was not manufactured specifically for you or a custom order item. Some items, while they can be cancelled, involve a manufacturer's cancellation fee, for which the customer is liable.
Prices & Typographical Errors In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price, with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing, coupon or gift certificate errors or misuse and abuse or incorrect product information received from our suppliers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed under these conditions. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders and correct any disparities whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. We reserve the right to refuse any order. Prices and policies are subject to change without prior notice.
RETURN POLICIES General Return Policy Our return policy is simple. Within 14 days of the receipt of your order, you may return for a refund, less a 25% restocking fee and the initial shipping cost, any lighting fixture or related product that has not been used, is in its original box, and is in resalable condition. The fixture cannot have been installed or modified in any way. The fixture must be enclosed in the original box with sufficient packaging material and have a Return Product Authorization Number (RPA#), issued by LightingSpot.com, on the returned box. To initiate the return process send an email to sales@LightingSpot.com clearly stating your situation and what you would like to return.
- Light Bulbs, Parts, and Shades do not qualify for returns unless the error was the fault of LightingSpot.com.
- Items not purchased from LightingSpot.com are not eligible to be returned.
- Custom orders or products that have been built to order or track that has been cut or shaped cannot be returned unless they have a defect.
- Special Purchases, such as: Inventory Sale Items, Custom Orders, Special Discounts and the like.
Customer is responsible for returning the Product to LightingSpot, with insurance.
Return Product Authorization Form
In the event you need to return an item for credit, please print and complete the Return Product Authorization Form and enclose it with the item(s) you wish to return along with a copy of your receipt. Please note that we will not accept returns without this form accompanying your return!
Wrong Item/Quantity Shipped It is the goal of LightingSpot.com to get your order right. If you should receive anything other than the order you placed, then be sure to contact one of our customer support representatives right away. They can make the appropriate arrangements to correct for any shipment error that may have occurred.
Shipping Damage Please check your purchase thoroughly and directly upon receipt. Due to the delicate nature of some of our products and the unavoidable mishaps encountered in transit, an item might arrive with some damage. If you receive your purchase freight damaged, you must file a claim with the shipping company. LightingSpot does not take responsibility for items damaged in shipment. If you need to request replacement fixtures or parts for an item that was damaged in shipping, you can initiate a request by contacting Customer Support.
Return Policy for Defective Products After receiving your shipment, you have two weeks in which to inspect the product(s) and inform LightingSpot.com of any defects in the manufacturing. If you determine your product is defective please follow the procedures for contacting Customer Service. Customer Service will give you the option to order a replacement or receive a full credit for the defective. If you fail to notify LightingSpot.com within 2 weeks of delivery of any defective merchandise, LightingSpot.com is not responsible for the defective product and will not be able to service you with a replacement.
Return Policy for Custom Orders. LightingSpot.com classifies custom orders, as orders that contain more than 8 quantity of a single product and orders that have a total invoice cost of over $2200. Custom Orders are not eligible for returns. If you are purchasing a large quantity of an item we recommend first purchasing a sample to make sure that the product meets your requirements and that you are completely satisfied with the product. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure they have all the necessary information and that all their questions have been answered before their order is placed.
Limited Warranty In order to serve our customers and subject to the following disclaimers and limitations, LightingSpot.com, provides the following limited warranty. All LightingSpot.com products are covered by this warranty and we make no other warranties. The warranty shall apply for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase. The warranty only covers products installed and maintained in accordance with the instructions provided by their respective manufacturer and no warranty is made with respect to any of our products that are otherwise installed or maintained. Product dimensions listed are provided by their respective manufacturer and to our knowledge are as accurate as possible. Defects or failures arising during shipment or due to alteration, misuse, negligence, accident, theft, defective maintenance, damage by and actions of others, or where adequate care has not been taken to prevent chemical, ice, or snow damage to the product shall not be covered by this warranty. The warranty does not cover products that have been exposed to toxic, nuclear, or corrosive environments. Due to the unsuitability of many cleaning agents such aspects of our products as could be damaged by their use, for example glass and finishes, are specifically excluded from the terms of this warranty. This warranty does not cover labor, shipping costs, removal or installation. If you discover a defect or malfunction during the period to which this warranty applies, repair or replacement is subject to the proper notification and consent of LightingSpot.com.
The Customer's Responsibilities when Returning Product When returning the product to LightingSpot.com it is the customer's responsibility to pack the product in the original box with sufficient packaging material, mark the box with the issued RPA (Return Product Authorization) number, and it is in the customer's best interest to insure the package. Any item received damaged at LightingSpot.com is the customer's responsibility and no replacement or refund will be issued.
Refunds The customer will be refunded once we have received the returned item and inspected the item for damage. Please note that we can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.
